The Division of Society, Culture, Media and Philosophy, Macquarie University, Sydney extends a warm invitation to our "Higher Degree Research and Honours Conference" to be held on 17 October, 2008 at the MGSM Executive Hotel and Conference Centre, Sydney, Australia. This conference is open to Higher Degree Research and Honours students from Macquarie University and other institutions who are currently working in the fields of anthropology, critical and cultural studies, media, Indigenous studies, international communication, philosophy, sociology and women's studies. The program aims to provide current research candidates with a platform to share their research findings as well as meet and expand their research networks.

The conference is also open to potential candidates - people interested in undertaking higher degree research (Honours, M Phil and PhD degrees) at Macquarie, who would like to attend and take the opportunity to meet current candidates as well as potential supervisors.
