Highlighted This Month
Two SCMP nominations have made it onto the University’s shortlist for Carrick Citation:
A/Prof Catriona Mackenzie, Dr. Mianna Lotz, Dr. Cynthia Townley - For excellence in the development of a cross-disciplinary, research-based ethics program and for inspiring student interest in ethics throughout all levels of the curriculum.
Mitch Parsell - For outstanding promotion of student engagement by engendering a commitment to community and ownership of assessment.

Please note that Carrick has changed it name to the Australian Learning and Teaching Council and their website is being progressively updated to reflect this change: more on the name change
According to the Provost website, these learning and teaching awards nationally and at the level of the University and Division recognise and reward individuals and teams who:
- Advance student learning
- Demonstrate educational leadership, and
- Provide evidence of a scholarly contribution to learning and teaching

Carrick
Carrick awards cover three separate categories:
- Carrick Awards for Teaching Excellence
- Carrick Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning
- Carrick Citations for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning
