Graduate Capabilities
University is not just about the acquisition of discipline specific knowledge. A university education must also develop a range of generic skills and capabilities. As part of the Curriculum Renewal Project, Macquarie is refocusing on developing graduates with thinking and personal skills: the ability to integrate knowledge acquired at university and in their professional lives and the capacities required to work as lead and work as members of teams.
For information on the approach please see The Discussion Paper: Graduate Capabilities Framework.
