On 13 August 2008, Associate Lecturer Lana Leslie and Administration Assistant Stephen Blair attended Tranby Aboriginal College located at Glebe NSW.
Kate Munro, Program Manager of Legal Studies at Tranby requested staff from Warawara attend to speak with students completing their Legal Studies course. A group of students were given resources outlining options for further study at Macquarie, with a particular focus on the discipline of Law and Community Management.
As a result of the visit, all students were later sent more specific information concerning their individual needs. In September 2008, Warawara received terrific news that one of the Tranby students visited had just applied for a Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie.
