This year’s showcase of postgraduate work will take the form of a one-day conference highlighting the department’s postgraduate research output. The conference will feature keynote addresses from some of our senior students because we want to show just how good our postgraduate work is!
All academic staff are warmly invited to attend. The event is also open to any honours and postgraduate students and other interested parties. We also encourage honours and undergraduate students wishing to pursue higher degree research to attend the conference to what kind of research the department produces and meet potential supervisors.

Temple of Dreams follows a group of Lebanese Australians who set up an
Islamic youth centre in Western Sydney. The documentary - by one of
Australia's leading documentary film makers - follows the group's
battle against the local council to keep the centre open, and their struggle
to fit into the wider community.
