The Division of SCMP is holding a one-day conference on Tuesday 2 October, 2007 at the Dunmore Lang College. The conference is open to Higher Degree Research and Honours students, but particularly Macquarie University students. RSVP by 21 September.

BEST FILM award at the Harmony Film Festival at UNSW
A documentary produced in MAS312 (Advanced Screen Production 1) has won BEST FILM award at the Harmony Film Festival at UNSW at the weekend.
The film, "Rob Tim Tom", is a portrait of Robert Smith an autistic man who likes sewing, trains, babies and listening to white noise. But he also possesses an amazing creative talent.
The 3rd year students who collaborated on this film were:

Evan Russell - Sound/Editor
Congratulations to these students and to Alec Morgan their workshop teacher.
You'll have a chance to see "Rob Tim Tom" when it is screened as part of the annual FOCUS screenings and creative achievement awards to be held November 27 at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington.
